Maderas Village, Nicaragua. Many of you have had to sit through years of stories of adventures (and misadventures) from this place. There seemed like no better location to get everyone together and celebrate my four decades on this planet. This is a great place to get away, and hosts a tight knit community of visitors.
You're invited for a four day celebration from March 10-14, 2018 (5 days, 4 nights). Arriving at Maderas Village on Saturday the 10th and checking out on Wednesday the 14th.
Maderas is small enough for everyone to see each other, but also roomy enough for you to do your own thing. There is no set day to day itinerary, but there will be a few events which I'll email about as the date gets closer. The beach is a ten minute walk from the village, so we'll be there pretty often. Accommodations are all inclusive and include an amazing family dinner each evening.
The easiest way to get to the village is to fly into Managua, Nicaragua (MGA). The village is a two hour car ride from the airport, so if possible, try not to fly in super late at night. Maderas will pre-arrange a car that will pick you up from the airport and drive you down to the village. Same thing goes for your journey back.
Once you're at Maderas, the surrounding beaches & everything you'll need are within walking distance, so there's no need to worry about renting a car while you're here.
Maderas has a variety of accommodations, ranging from cabanas, private rooms, to shared rooms. You & your party can rent any of the spaces. Maderas has special discounted rates for our 5 day, 4 night celebration which are all inclusive with a few exceptions. Details below:
